Celebrate Easter Downtown

• Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (121 E. Duval St.) will hold Easter Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday and will also observe the traditional Latin Mass at 8 a.m.

• St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral (256 E. Church St.) will celebrate Good Friday with a noon service and Easter Sunday services at 6 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

• The First Presbyterian Church (118 E. Monroe St.) will hold the Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. and Good Friday service at 7 p.m.

• St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (321 W. Union St.) will have the Holy Eucharist and Baptism at 10 a.m. Sunday.

• The Landing will host a multi-denominational Easter sunrise service organized by several local faith-based communities at 7 a.m.

• Café Nola (333 N. Laura St.) serves Easter Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with 10 entree choices plus a buffet of salads, pastries and side items. Reservations are suggested. Call 366-6911, ext. 231.

• The Hyatt’s Easter Brunch will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a carving station, seafood, a raw bar and a special children’s brunch menu. For reservations, call 634-4540 or visit www.opentable.com.

• Easter Brunch at the Omni will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring breakfast items plus smoked salmon, prime rib, lamb chops, desserts and pizza on the children’s menu. For reservations, call 791-4826.
