Jim Bailey, owner of Bailey Publishing & Communications, and his wife, Donna, are offered congratulations from Beth Fleet of the Supervisor of Elections Office following acceptance of his official paperwork to become a candidate for mayor of the City of Jacksonville in the 2011 election. Bailey then met with media to discuss leadership, job creation, education and expanding the city’s economic visibility and impact through such avenues as Jacksonville’s ports and the area’s medical industry with the goal to “build the Jacksonville we all want.” “This campaign is about leadership,” said Bailey. “There’s no reason we can’t build the most competitive American city in the 21st century.”
