Casa Dora owner and chef Sam Hamidi has been serving lunch and dinner Downtown for more than 12 years and he’s always eager to add something new to menu.

His latest addition is a square pizza that’s different from the usual pie.

“We let the crust rise for four hours, so it’s very light,” said Hamidi. “In Italy, it’s called ‘metro,’ which means ‘highway,’ but over here people call it Sicilian pizza.”

He’s also serving, in honor of spring, homemade lemonade and New York-style cheesecake at the restaurant on Forsyth Street near the Florida Theatre.
