Chandler Designs specializes in model home merchandising for the home building industry as well as staging for the Real Estate industry.
“I have always had a passion and a keen eye for making a house a home,” said Wendy Chandler, the company’s president.
With over 15 years in the business, Chandler has developed Chandler Designs into a company that knows how to get the job done. Even though she was a first-time Laurel applicant, Chandler Designs walked away with three awards.
“I am so honored and delighted to have won three Laurel Awards this year,” she said.
The homes that won were all built by Lennar Homes and each so unique. “I love working with Lennar Homes as they allow me to use my creative ingenuity to meet the various buyer markets,” said Chandler.
The Lexington Park community is on the north side of Jacksonville and targets the single professional buyer to the new family.
“It was great to use a palate of colors that showed a sense of sophistication mixed with comfort and style,” said Chandler. “My favorite room in that house is the child’s Cat in the Hat room. It is so whimsical and fun with great colors!”.
The Wynnfield Lakes home is centrally located in the South side and targets such a diverse group of cultures. “This house was fun to do because it allowed me to utilize some bold colors and make the home just come alive,” said Chandler. “My favorite room in this model is the luscious red living room with the chocolate velvet sofa.”
The model in Willowcove is located in Nocatee. “I like to call this house The Little Black Dress. It is very chic with the use of black, whites, creams, and gray tones. It is reminiscent of old Hollywood to me, I just love it!,” said Chandler.
Besides staying busy merchandising model homes for builders, Chandler Designs works with Realtors to get homes “sell-ready” and has a number of private clients for in home consultations to remodeling projects.
