Veteran developer Bill Petkoski has started The Cottage Home Company and is Palencia’s newest builder.
Petkoski most recently was vice president of operations for The St. Joe Company and previously worked with Arvida and Zaring Homes.
At Palencia, he is building a 3,547 square foot home at 291 Sophia Terrace. It was designed by Robert Esposito.
“We are extremely excited to have join our family of builders in Palencia. Bill’s impressive background and wonderful ideas are a perfect fit for our community,” said Naomi Lumley, sales and marketing director for Hines at Palencia.
A Palencia resident, Petkoski is actively involved in the community serving on numerous development boards as well as playing an active role in youth sports in St. Johns County.
“We believe today’s consumer needs for simpler, less complicated lives play well into the need for our designs. They are learning that efficient design is more important than how many square feet the home is. Our goal at the Cottage Home Company is for every square foot to have a use and function in our plans,” said Petkoski.
