Friday, the best examples of advertising and marketing by the Jacksonville area’s advertising agencies, non-profits and other organizations will be in the spotlight at 111 E. Bay Street and The Florida Theatre.
The awards are sponsored by the Jacksonville chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Winners will go on to compete against the best from elsewhere in Florida and the Caribbean in the District IV competition later this spring.
This year’s competition drew more than 200 entries, including entries from students at Flagler College and the University of North Florida. Agencies and organizations entering work include:

Gold and Silver ADDYs will be awarded as well as Best in Show for Print, Broadcast, Interactive and Student; Judges Award and the Silver Medal Award. A panel of ADDY winners from around the country conducted the judging for the competition.
Entries in this year’s competition will be displayed at 111 E. Bay Street (entrance is next to The Ivy) beginning at 6:30 p.m., with the awards presentation beginning at 8 p.m at The Florida Theatre.
The American Advertising Federation is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., AAF has a network of 200 local ad clubs across the country and serves as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising.”
