The NEFAR Leadership Academy has accepted 17 candidates for its first class.
The Academy, will be headed by NEFAR Past Presidents Selby Kaiser of Legends of Real Estate and Bobbie Siecker of Century 21, Dames Point Real Estate.
The Academy program is designed to help candidates learn about NEFAR and the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, and prepare them for leadership roles in either or both.
The schedule includes classes on team building, association management, NAR benefits, parliamentary procedures, communication and spokesperson training.
The participants also will attend major state events.
The first class: Daniel McCarthy, Florida Realty Web, Jacksonville Beach; Gonzalo Mejia, Coldwell Banker, Jacksonville; N. Christine Williams, CW Real Estate Sales, Jacksonville Beach; and Donna Overman, Audrey Lackie, Beverly Tyson, Terri Brown, Joanie Heighes, Jennifer Harper and Jeff Fagan, all of Watson Realty, Jacksonville.
Also, David Kovar, Watson Realty, Palatka; Andrew Bell, Rels Title, Jacksonville; Darlene Yordon, Vanguard Realty, Jacksonville; Nancy Maggiore, Realty Select Services, Jacksonville; Martha Vidal, Prudential Network Realty, Ponte Vedra Beach; and Drexel “Todd” Kellogg, Todd Kellogg Realty Group, Jacksonville.
