• Legal Art Works is rolling out a new product with a nationwide promotion Tuesday. President and CEO Jeff Davis said he thinks it will change the way attorneys look at the cost of computer-animated vehicle accident reconstructions for mediation and trial. He also wanted to give Daily Record readers an advance look before it hits the market. Visit www.legalartworks.com/skywitness for a preview.

• The St. Johns Riverkeeper will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2010, but don’t expect officials to sit idly by and celebrate. Instead, the independent river advocacy group will have educational boat trips for several months beginning in March, host river cleanups and remain engaged in the community. It will celebrate some, though, by having a River Luncheon at the Hyatt March 3 to mark the anniversary while educating attendees on what the future holds for the river, as well as its 10th annual Oyster Roast fundraiser in November.

• Speaking of the river, the St. Johns River and Suwannee River water management districts are holding a joint public meeting Jan. 28 and encouraging the public to participate in the development of their respective water supply plans. The informational meeting runs from 6:30– 8 p.m. and will include information about the water supply planning process, assessments of Northeast Florida water supply by each district and public comments. For Jacksonville residents, it might be a little drive, though, as the event is at the Alachua County Health Department Auditorium in Gainesville.
