Special to Realty/Builder Connection The 31st annual Realtor Builder Tradeshow has taken the theme of “Vive La Renaissance” and the co-chairs of the organizational committee, Amanda Dandy and Donald Ster, say they hope it signals what it means: “rebirth”, “new beginning”, “reawakening”, “revival” and the “beginning of a new era”.
The event is a joint project of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR). The show is Thursday, Oct. 21 at UNF’s University Center from 9 a.m -3 p.m.
“The reasoning behind this theme came about as we vowed as a task force to entice a renewed enthusiasm. We want to make 2010 the year that Northeast Florida’s building and real estate industry leaders inspired our sales professionals to make success happen,” said Dandy, a Prudential Network Realty agent who represents NEFAR.
“‘Vive La Renaissance’” is designed to revitalize everyone’s enthusiasm for an industry that has taken some particularly hard knocks over the past few years,” said Ster of Wells Fargo Mortgage, the NEFBA representative. “We are doubling the restaurant food samples, providing entertainment to add to the excitement and continuing to charge the low entry fee for larger participation.”
There are 60 booths available and different sponsorship levels.
“We are urging companies to sign up for a booths and sponsorships early on to make sure you are not left out. We sold out quickly last year and there is much interest this year,” said Dandy.
The educational breakout sessions have returned and Tim Hamby, president of Renaissance Creative, will facilitate one on “Using Social Media to Enhance the Customer Experience.”
“Customers are now interacting with your brand through multiple channelsincluding social media, mobile apps, Website, call center and design center. Yet some companies are unable to consolidate this valuable data and automatically act on it,” said Hamby.
Tickets are $10 per person. To register online, visit www.tinyurl.com/rbtradesho w1021. Booths are $600 and sponsorships range from $800 to $3,500.
