• The Southside Business Men’s Club says its speaker lineup for the coming weeks include former Jacksonville Jaguar and Team Teal Commissioner Tony Boselli today and Jacksonville Suns President Peter Bragan on July 7. • The State Road 9B groundbreaking ceremony will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the median of State Road 9A south of Baymeadows Road. The $76.8 million four-lane limited access highway will be built between 9A and Philips Highway with funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. • In its latest round of research grants funded annually by tobacco tax dollars, the Florida Department of Health has awarded five investigators at the Jacksonville campus of Mayo Clinic almost $6.5 million over five years for projects that range from identifying new mutations in breast tumors and understanding cellular changes that lead to kidney cancer to testing therapies to treat common lung cancer.

• Conservative talk radio station 1320 WBOB found a new home. Its programing can be found at 1530 AM. The WBOB features national talk show hosts Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and local hosts.

• Correction: An article on the Jacksonville Port Authority’s dredging project in the St. Johns River incorrectly attributed a quote on the progress of the project to David Kaufman. The quote was from Chief Operating Officer Chris Kauffman.
