Pro Bono Spotlight

One Client. One Attorney. One Promise.

The clients described below need pro bono consultation or representation with these specific legal issues. Please consider being the one who will make the difference in the life of one of these clients.

Uncontested Probate:

Client seeks to probate decedent’s estate so that settlement of the decedent’s worker’s compensation case can be distributed to the widow and children.

Adoption:

Client seeks to adopt her 6-year-old grandson. Grandson is currently residing with Client. Client was awarded Temporary Relative Custody several years ago. Grandson’s father is incarcerated. Grandson’s mother is in drug rehabilitation center. 

Homeownership:

Client is senior citizen living in Nassau County. Client reports being coerced into adding her adult child’s name to the deed of client’s home. Client does not want her daughter’s name on the deed to the home.

Professional liability insurance is provided for pro bono attorneys serving Jacksonville Area Legal Aid clients.
