New homes coming at WGV

Re/Max builds a ramp

Re/Max Unlimited Realtors recently helped build a wheelchair ramp at a home in St. Augustine.

Approximately 10 agents, including company owners Brenda and Ron Horst, all one August day to complete the ramp, which will help make access to the home easier and safer for the family. Agents volunteering for the project included Susie Mullinax, Christine Rich, Rick Lofgren, Kim Sandberg, Linda Morgan, Debbie Riley, Jim Peschek and Donna Goedecke.

The project is part of a community service partnership between the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and the Housing Partnership of Northeast Florida. The goal of the program is to provide wheelchair ramps free of charge to Northeast Florida residents in need.

Watson goes into Starke

Watson Realty has merged the office of Hometown First Realty in Starke with its Keystone Heights office.

Watson Keystone Heights will maintain a branch office at the former location of Hometown First Realty in downtown Starke at 107 E. Call Street with agents Ann Ryan, Gayle Van Wagenen and Ronald Norman.

Bourre builds in King & Bear

Bourré Construction Group has completed the design and broken ground on a custom home in the Oakgrove Estates neighborhood at King & Bear in World Golf Village. The company recently completed another custom home in the same neighborhood.

The 5,520-square-foot home is scheduled for completion in March 2011. The company designs energy-efficient homes ranging from elegant custom designs to homes for the first-time buyer and there are a variety of floor plans and home designs from which to choose.

Homes by Bourré Construction Group are priced from the $150,000s to more than $1 million.

Re/Max agents honored

A number of Re/Max Specialists associates recently were honored by the national Re/Max association.

Mark Jenks was inducted into the Chairman’s Club, and fewer than one percent of the Re/Max network achieved this prestigious award in 2009.

Nick Simonis made the Platinum Club, a level achieved by only four percent.

Getting into the 100% Club, achieved by only 17 percent, were Linda Bayles, Wes Broxson, Karen Ewing, Steve Jones, Will Landay, Tom Lucas, Kathie Kearney, Margo Marshall, Michael McAfee, Linda Pankake, Michael Paull, Maria Raymer, Cathy Sloan, Kim Smith, Denette Triplett and Bob Woods.

The final category, the Executive Club, was gained by Jeff Adams, Todd Arnold, Kathy Broxson, Lori Dreisbach, Mary Anne Eldreth, Jerrie Flug, Tracy Griffin, Dana Hancock, Wendy Helms-McGill, Kathy Hicks and Patrick Lanahan.
