Lennar Homes members were awarded several individual awards throughout the recent Laurels ceremony, but the company itself took home the final award of the evening by earning the Grand Laurel.
“We are honored to be recognized with these distinguished awards from our peers in the homebuilding industry,” said Lennar Jacksonville Division President Barbara Moore. “I could not be more proud of the Lennar Jacksonville team for all their ongoing efforts on behalf of Lennar and the area’s homebuyers. Their dedication and customer-friendly philosophy have led to Lennar’s continued recognition as one of the First Coast’s leading builders.”
The Grand Laurel Award is given to the organization with the best overall performance that takes home the most recognition from the evening’s events.
“Lennar received this year’s honor after being the recipient of numerous awards within different categories, due to the ongoing commitment that makes up our Jacksonville team,” said Moore.
As of this year, Lennar has won more than 12 Laurel Awards and Moore said it is an honor to have won the Grand Laurel again this year.
“We have a dedicated and committed team in Jacksonville and we are privileged to be recognized with this and other distinguished awards from our peers in the homebuilding industry,” said Moore.
Even though they’ve won before Moore said they were pleasantly surprised to have won again this year.
“Winning at the Laurel Awards is never a given. We feel as those we excelled in a lot of different areas that were reflected in the award categories we won that evening,” she said.
Since they have won before, Moore spoke to what it takes to win a Laurel in this market.
“The judges at each year’s Laurel Awards are industry professionals and are from other parts of the country,” said Moore. “While we are not given a set of requirements they look for each year, we do know that it takes the loyal work of our team on a daily basis to accomplish our overall goals that allow us to succeed as a company.”
Moore said the company is focused on their future homebuyers as they work to build families the home of their dreams.
“We’re a team that’s centered on quality craftsmanship, maintaining outstanding values and great customer service,” she said. “Over the next year we look forward to new communities and continued success in Jacksonville.”
