Here are the 2010 award winners as selected by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and presented at the annual installation luncheon last month at the Southpoint Marriott:
Realtor of the Year: Selby Kaiser, Legends of Real Estate. Numerous accomplishments including taking the lead on the Leadership Academy. She has been a leader in almost every area of NEFAR and is a former president and Presidential Lifetime Service Award winner
Humanitarian Award: Paul Wilson, Re/Max Unlimited, for his work with the Wolfson Childrens Hospital; Richard “Rick” Macdonald, Legends of Real Estate, for his work with the Metro Kids Connection; Mary L. Walker, ERA Davis and Linn, for her participation in medical missions; Don Mullinax, Commission Express of North Florida, for work in the “Ramp It Up” project.
Presidential Service Recognition Award: Amanda Dandy, Prudential Network Realty. Numerous accomplishments including chairing the 2010 Realtor Builder Tradeshow.
Presidential Lifetime Service Award: Bonnie Siecker, Dames Point Realty. For her 33 years of service to NEFAR.
Affiliate/Business Partner of the Year: Franchesca Swierz, Homes and Land magazine of Northeast Florida. Participation and sponsorship in NEFAR events including Tradeshow, Southwest Council and Beaches Council.
Circle of Honor: Paul Gruenther, Watson Realty. Giving time to help the association including WCR, Beaches Council, “Ramp It Up,” RPAC and being part of The Moves Brothers entertainment team.
Educator of the Year: Patricia Sherman, Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty. Teaches numerous classes including Orientation 11 times last year and is scheduled for seven more in 2011.
Elected Official of the Year: Jacksonville City Council member John Crescimbeni. Helped the association with several issues including signage laws and reduction of fees.
Property Manager of the Year: Roger Perkins of Perkins Realty for his work in Clay County while expanding his business.
Special Recognition Awards: Carol Hill, Prudential Network Realty, contributions as 2010 president; Holly McMurry, Legends of Real Estate, RPAC auction.
