• Actor and producer Mark Wahlberg will partner with Jacksonville-based Dignity U Wear to promote the nonprofit’s nationally focused mission to provide new clothing to Americans in need. Wahlberg will be the national spokesperson for Dignity U Wear and will host a fundraising dinner in New York City this month to benefit the nonprofit’s mission. In December, Dignity will provide new wardrobes to 300 children at a Christmas party at the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester, Mass., where Wahlberg grew up.

• Home and condo sales are rising in Jacksonville while their prices continue to drop, reports the Florida Realtors. For the third quarter, Realtor sales of single-family homes rose 8 percent, from 3,429 in 2010 to 3,714 this year, while prices fell 3 percent from $141,800 to $137,100. Existing condominium sales rose 7 percent to 685 from 638, while prices fell 3 percent from $77,200 to $74,800.

• The Main Street America Group created a commercial surety national accounts unit to focus on meeting the commercial surety needs of large accounts. The unit will be staffed by Merritt Willits, Paul Bergenholtz and Adam Rehn. Willits was appointed director. Bergenholtz and Rehn are surety account management executives.

• The Sulzbacher Center has named Greg Frazier as director of development effective Nov. 28. He has been chief development officer for Community Connections for more than four years and before that was a campaign division manager for United Way of Northeast Florida.

• The Mayor’s Holiday Festival for Senior Citizens is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Osborn Center. Tickets are on sale for $5 each at the Mary Singleton Senior Center, 150 E. First St., and at City Hall, Suite 280. The annual event for Jacksonville seniors age 60 and over includes a traditional holiday dinner, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment, door prizes and more. • The City issued a permit for Fickling Construction Inc. for interior renovations for Lender Processing Services at 601 Riverside Ave. at a project cost of $64,697; Tom Kelly Construction Inc. will convert space at 4218 Blanding Blvd. into an Internet café at a cost of $23,000; and a warehouse at 1375 W. Church St. is being demolished at a cost of $30,000.
