Show goes with football
This year’s Realtor Builder Tradeshow will have a football theme and will return to the UNF University Center.
The Tradeshow will be in October and the Sales and Marketing Council committee will have full details after its July 20 meeting. The Tradehsow is a joint effort by NEFAR and NEFBA, coordinated through SMC.
This year’s co-chairs are David Wakefield of PrimeLending and Liz McMahan of Watson Realty.

Durbin adds new builder
Durbin Crossing has added a new preferred builder, Dennis Homes.
The builder will offer custom homes ranging from 2,200 to 3,500 square feet from the low $200s to the $400s.
Promotions
• Toll Brothers will give Realtors a $50 Visa gift card for visiting Coastal Oaks at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra with new clients. The promotion runs from June 28 to July 26.
• GreenPointe Homes, the homebuilding division of GreenPointe Holdings, will pay a 7.5 percent commission as a Realtor incentive for residences sold at the North Jacksonville community of Cedar Bay.
Development competition open
Urban Land Institute North Florida is seeking entries for the inaugural Awards for Excellence for development projects from across North Florida. Nominations are due by August 30.
According to a press release, the awards program is "the centerpiece of ULI’s efforts in North Florida to identify and promote best practices in all types of real estate development."
The awards are in four categories: Private Sector, Public Sector/Open Space/Non-Profits, Downtown and Visionary Leader, each with individual requirements. All real estate developments and programs from North Florida are eligible for submission

DBPR form changes
Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation has revised the status change forms for both individuals and firms. The new forms have an April 2012 revision date and all others should be discarded.
NEFAR must also be notified - at the same time - of status changes of its members.
New Lennar community
Lennar Homes has opened its newest community, Mission Trace, in St. Augustine. There are one-and two-story energy efficient homes with
flexible floor plans.
Mission Trace is across from St. Johns
River State College and homes start in the $190s. There are no
Community Development District fees.
