NEFBA’s E-Council expects to finish 2012 strong and start 2013 even stronger. Formed just last year, the E-Council is the result of the on-going partnership between NEFBA and JEA’s Conservation Programs – a partnership that also produced the successful Green Built Homes of Florida program.

Join now and it’s free for the remainder of 2012. You can start being part of this exciting new council dedicated to encouraging practices that are economically and environmentally better for our community. Just go online to www.ecounciljax.org and fill out the application. It’s that easy. As a registered member of the council, your company will be listed as one that specializes in various aspects of sustainable, efficient building practices, and your contact information will be available to consumers (potential customers) searching for the services you provide. The free membership offer ends soon, so don’t delay.

E-Council members enjoy many training opportunities throughout the year. For example, JEA’s train-the-trainer class Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 has a few seats remaining. This is excellent training if you need to train staff and if you want to be a more effective trainer. Call Bruce Doueck at JEA (665-6231) for more information and to sign up.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the E-Council luncheon Nov. 14. The meetings are always informative and present a great opportunity discuss industry challenges and issues with other professionals. Visit online at www.ecounciljax.org for details on this exciting program to help your business.

If you are a registered user of the E-Council’s Web site, you want to take full advantage of the benefits of the site. Call Dan Copeland (665-8956) for more information about how to maximize the Web site’s potential for your firm.

There’s no time like right now to see how the E-Council can help keep you on top of advancements in technology, business strategies and customer development in an ever-changing environment. And, for just a little while longer, membership is free.
