Led by Carol Zingone of the Prudential Network Realty, the 2013 NEFAR officers were formally elected at a meeting last month at the Jacksonville Marriott. They’ll take office in January at the annual meeting.
Her ascension will mark the end of a rare two-year reigh as president by Dane Leslie of Watson Realty, who took on the extra year when his president-elect, Stephanie White of Magnolia Properties, left to take a job in the panhandle.
Zingone’s leadership team will include Linda McMorrow of The Legends of Real Estate as president-elect, Sally Suslak of Traditions Realty as treasurer and Terrell Newberry of Flagler Trace Realty as secretary.
The incoming directors will be Leslie, Lynn Brier-De La Cruz of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Denise Geoghegan of Exit Real Estate Gallery, Marc Jernigan of Watson Realty, Marc Spalding of Coldwell Banker Ben Bates, Scott Sullivan of Prudential Network Realty, Pete Dalton of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Amanda Dandy of Prudential Network Realty, Jeanne Denton-Scheck of Watson Realty, Clark LaBlond of Watson Realty, Audrey Lackie of Watson Realty, Linda McMorrow of The Legends of Real Estate, Michael Morris of Re/Max Specialists, Terrell Newberry of Flagler Trace Realty, Sally Suslak of Traditions Realty and Cammie Thomas of Exit Real Estate Gallery.
The Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service directors will be Mark Rosener of Watson Realty, Kim Knapp of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Kathy Tinney of Century 21 Discover Realty Inc., Sonny Downey of Exit Real Estate Gallery, Wanda Franklin of Heth Realty, Gonzalo Mejia of Watson Realty, Marilyn Bearss of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Clare Berry of Berry and Co. Real Estate, Stan Bishop of Exit Real Estate Gallery, Charles Kassaw of Coldwell Banker Vanguard, Roy Orren of Marketmasters of the Southeast and Jerry Smith of Re/Max Specialists.
The MLS officers will be selected from among their directors later.
