The Church of Eleven22 announced it will open its worship center Sunday at a former Walmart at Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road.
The Church of Eleven22 began in 2008 as a single service at Beach United Methodist Church in Jacksonville Beach.
Its new location is 14286 Beach Blvd. The denominational Beach United Methodist Church will launch The Church of Eleven22 as a non-denominational church.
The lead pastor is Joby Martin. The church will offer two services this weekend. They are 11:22 a.m. and 6:22 p.m. Sunday.
After this weekend, three services will be held weekly — 7:22 p.m. Thursdays and 9 a.m. and 11:22 a.m. Sundays.

It says “our name comes from the portion of scripture in Matthew 16 where Jesus essentially kicks off His movement of believers with Peter’s confession of faith. Over two thousand years later we stand on the same public proclamation, that ‘Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.’”
Eleven22 stands for Mark 11:22 in the New Testament book of the Bible.
The space was renovated at a construction cost of $2.56 million, according to a City permit issued in May.
