The Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service is reducing fees for the annual dues year that begins July 1.
Every NEFMLS member, new or existing, will see a $50 reduction in their personal fees as they drop from $350 to $300. An additional, separate $50 reduction will be given on participant office fees ($300 to $250).
Participants are the main NEFMLS member and include brokers, appraisers, designated Realtors, or office managers.
Through the two-tiered fee reduction, NEFMLS participants will actually realize a $100 total drop in fees ($50 on the personal fee plus $50 on the office fee).
The NEFMLS board recently voted approval of the fee reductions to recognize the organization's 20th anniversary and thank members who have contributed to the multiple listing service's success.
"Paying lower fees is welcomed by our members and we are pleased that NEFMLS's sound financial management has positioned us to take this step. Northeast Florida's real estate market is making positive strides and offering a fee reduction on top of that is one way we can give our members an extra boost after a few years of rough economic times," says NEFMLS President Wanda Franklin.
