Hosseini leads university system

Daytona Beach-area developer Mori Hosseini has been selected to chair the Board of Governors that oversees the State University System of Florida.

He is chairman and CEO of Intervest Construction Inc. in Daytona Beach, a company he has owned for more than 30 years. The company is the developer of several Northeast Florida properties, including Amelia National. Intervest also develops under the name ICI Homes.

As chair of the governors, Hosseini leads the oversight of the state’s university system, which includes the University of North Florida.
