The St. Johns Builders Council will host its annual fishing tournament on Saturday, May 18, at the Northeast Florida Marlin Association Clubhouse at Camachee Cove.
Presented by Jenkins Heating & Air, proceeds will benefit the St. Johns Housing Partnership to help a family in need.
“Our members and guests enjoy the friendly competition and camaraderie of this tournament,” said NEFBA President Dennis Ginder. “This year we are proud to support the St. Johns Housing Partnership, which has made a difference in the lives of so many in St. Johns County.”
Competition is limited to boats only. The entry fee is $250 per boat.
The mandatory captain’s meeting will be at Camachee Cove from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 17. Tournament participants may begin fishing at 6 a.m. on May 18.
The fish weigh-in will run from 2-5 p.m. with live music by “The Coconuts,” followed by dinner and an awards presentation at Camachee Cove. More than $5,000 in prizes will be awarded.
