Raising the roof for Mellow Mushroom
The city approved roofing for the Mellow Mushroom restaurant under construction in Avondale at 3601 St. Johns Ave. Metro Property Services is the contractor for the roofing job at a project cost of $56,000.
More pizza bites
• The city approved a permit for Blue Ocean Construction LLC to renovate space in Argyle at 9725 Crosshill Blvd., No. 112, for My Life Pizza. It's a 2,040-square-foot location with outside space as well. It's an almost $50,000 project.
• The Little Caesars in East Arlington is closer to development. The city is reviewing a permit for Mayes Construction of Fort Myers to modify about 1,500 square feet of space at 3031 Monument Road for the pizza carryout restaurant. The project is shown at a cost of $90,000. Little Caesars will share the building with Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins.
