Dunkin' Donuts closer to Baymeadows site

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing a request for a Dunkin' Donuts along Baymeadows Road, just west of Interstate 95, in front of the Four Points by Sheraton Jacksonville Baymeadows hotel.

There's property at the hotel site to accommodate development. The Dunkin' Donuts is planned on 0.65 acres.

The CADJazz engineering, planning and consulting firm of Kissimmee filed the request with the district.

As reported Aug. 27, the city is reviewing plans for a Dunkin' Donuts at 8520 Baymeadows Road to be developed in the parking lot fronting the Four Points by Sheraton.

Property owner Park Properties Inc. of Jacksonville and agent Reel Development Services LLC of St. Petersburg submitted concurrency and mobility-fee applications to the city for the project, called Baymeadows Center.

It is shown as a 4,000-square-foot building with half for Dunkin' Donuts and the other half for an unidentified retailer. RKM Development Corp. also is named on the application.
