Peter Singer, a senior fellow with the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution, kicks off the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville Global Issues Evenings series at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the University of North Florida Herbert University Center.

The North Florida Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth starts the program year with a panel discussion about "Women Entrepreneurs: Building Successful Companies in Jacksonville."
