From left, David Whitlock, Weston Whitlock (infant), Hunter Sleiman, Toney Sleiman, Kevin Morbach, Peggy Morbach, Staci Whitlock, Sharlene Moore, Caridee Whitlock (little girl in front) and Bret Moore helped celebrate the opening of Kevin Morbach’s 7-Eleven store at 50 Kernan Blvd. N., near Atlantic Boulevard. Instead of staging a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, Morbach sliced a giant submarine sandwich. It’s the first of two 7-Eleven stores he plans to open this year. He gave away free Slurpees and made a cash donation to nearby Landmark Middle School.
