Where are you from and what brought you to Jacksonville?
I am a native of Jacksonville. As a fighting Tiger graduate from Andrew Jackson Senior High School, I was fortunate to grow up in our amazing Historic Springfield District. My family and I are honored to represent Jacksonville on many levels throughout our city and are thankful to have the ability to contribute to our varied communities.
What is your motto?
My motto is more of a life lesson. Tell me and I will forget, show me and I will remember, involve me and I will understand. This philosophy has been a part of my life from my early 20s. I’ve consistently had the question of “How do I do that?” to my mentors and coaches. It’s a steadfast reminder of leadership and growth. Helping others learn the practical applications of “making things happen” in their lives has inspired me daily.
What value do you see in being an SMC member?
As a salesperson, I explain, teach and convey concepts and thoughts. I’m proud to acknowledge that I am a salesperson and revel in the fact that this profession has been respected for over a century.
SMC highlights the builder sales professional in the real estate industry and recognizes its leaders. It acknowledges the goal setters, the entrepreneurs and marketing gurus of builder sales throughout North East Florida.
This amazing association teaches sales and marketing techniques to all of its members and inspires relationship building. That is where the real action occurs in any sales industry. It’s a “person to person” connection and that builds trust. That personal trust … It’s what creates value!
How do you feel SMC has benefited your business?
My business and personal wealth have increased exponentially by the friendships, partnerships and relationships that have been fostered through the Sales and Marketing Council of NEFBA. NEFBA SMC consistently provides growth and educational opportunities to its members while fostering lifelong connections. I’m honored to serve this amazing council and association.
