The inaugural Urban Core Scavenger Hunt, part of the January edition of Community First Saturday, will feature an overnight stay at the Omni Downtown and spending money as its top prize.

Anthony Allegretti, director of Downtown engagement for the JAX Chamber, said when the results are tabulated at 4 p.m., the winning team will receive two rooms Saturday night at the Omni and a $500 prepaid debit card, courtesy of Community First Credit Union.

The hunt is intended to encourage contestants to discover more of the neighborhood.

"The new location has a lot of connectivity. We have always wanted people to explore more of the urban core. The scavenger hunt is designed to highlight the walkable and bike-able streetscape of Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. The winners will be able to celebrate their

victory Saturday night Downtown at the Omni," he said.

Allegretti said the line-up for the March 16 Community First Natural Life Music Festival at Metropolitan Park will be announced at 2 p.m. Saturday in the plaza.
