March was definitely a high-energy, high-profile month for the association.
The association was well represented at the FHBA Spring Legislative Conference in Tallahassee March 16-18.
Our team met with key lawmakers and we believe we brought our concerns to the right people. You can read more about the conference and see a few photographs in Builder News.
That same week we hosted the annual Construction Industry Trade Expo, an event that gives our associate members a golden opportunity to present their services, products and concepts to a record number of builders within a few hours under one roof.
The Trade Expo is an excellent marketing arena for both associates and builders. Both reap the benefits of the relationships established and renewed at the show.
Without much time to take a break, members and staff are working hard to make April and May even more exciting.
April is the Parade of Homes, a much anticipated part of spring on the First Coast. Billed as the area’s largest open house, the Parade of Homes showcases the variety, quality and latest technology in home building by our builder members.
Although the 2015 membership drive doesn’t officially begin until May, we want to get the ball rolling now.
Join a membership team and start making your prospect list. It’s my personal goal that this will be a record-breaking membership drive. I’m going to do my part, and I know I can count on you to do yours.
Thanks to all the members who have helped launch 2015 — it’s shaping up to be a great year!
Sincerely,
Rick Morales
