Davidson Cares’ annual Cooler & Cocktail raffle contest will benefit St. Augustine Youth Services.
The facility provides a therapeutic home-like environment for boys ages 6-18 who have suffered from sexual or physical abuse and/or severe neglect. In addition to meeting the boys’ everyday needs, the facility wants to add a residential facility to its Hutson Family campus.
The raffle prize from Davidson Cares, the corporate giving program of Davidson Realty, is a large cooler featuring 14 types of liquors and a variety of snacks.
The fundraiser is sponsored by Bank of England and tickets are available at DavidsonCares.com. Tickets are $10 each, six tickets for $50 and 15 tickets for $100. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the facility.
The drawing will be Jan. 21.

Pieology Pizzeria will open its first North Florida location at Nocatee’s Town Center.
At Pieology, guests custom-build their pizzas on fresh house-made dough, choosing from a selection of eight signature sauces and more than 40 meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, and spices.
Headquartered in Southern California, Pieology was recently ranked America’s fastest-growing restaurant chain by Technomic, a consulting and research firm for the food industry.
Pieology’s new retail building is being developed by Skinner Bros. Realty and is scheduled for completion in first quarter of 2016.
The company will join tenants Dunkin Donuts, M-Shack, Big Fish Yoga, Coastal Wine Market and Verizon Wireless.

Lennar on Dec. 11 celebrated the holidays with the Palencia Tour of Lights.
Featuring thousands of lights and holiday events for the entire family, the tour was held at the Lennar Model Park in Palencia.
The event included hay ride tours of Palencia’s Christmas lights, photos with Santa Claus, miniature golf, Christmas music, hot cocoa and sweet treats.
There also were six decorated Lennar model homes for families to tour.

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville Inc. in November hosted a home-dedication ceremony for eight HabiJax buyers.
The ceremony was at 1852 W. Fourth St. in New Town. In attendance were homebuyers and their families, volunteers and home-build sponsors.
During its 27 years of building communities with its partners, HabiJax has improved Jacksonville’s five urban core areas with high-quality affordable homes and enhanced neighborhoods.
HabiJax partnered with the New Town Success Zone, committing to a $16 million capital campaign and more than 400 home and rehabilitation projects.

Mirtha Barzaga of Davidson Realty Inc. sponsored a Thanksgiving food drive in Heritage Landing to benefit the Emergency Services & Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County.
The Coalition provides transitional housing to families and children who have experienced significant challenges.
The drive collected non-perishables for the organization, including canned fruit and vegetables, beans, noodles, soups and canned meats.
Barzaga also sponsored a holiday toy and food drive in December at the King & Bear to benefit the Emergency Services & Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County.
