Dean Russell Custom Homes took the top prize at NEFBA’s Master Remodelers Council Awards for its best-in-show whole-house remodel.

The honor was a long time coming for the company, which has netted multiple Parade of Homes and Design Show Homes awards in the past, but until now, had only received a runner-up award from the Remodelers Council.

“Tonight, we feel like the Jaguars,” quipped Cathy Russell, wife of Dean Russell.

NEFBA celebrated the industry’s best at the annual event, where more than a dozen remodelers from Northeast Florida were recognized.

“We spend the whole year competing with each other. Tonight is the night we come together to celebrate your accomplishments,” said Jerry Linder, former NEFBA president and the awards’ master of ceremony.
