Throughout its long history, the association newsletter was known as Bildor News. It was so named to stand out as being different. And, it did. There comes a time, though, when standing out is no longer necessary or desirable. With the advent of spell check and auto correct, unusual spellings can be a nuisance.

NEFBA’s Executive Committee voted to change the newsletter’s name to Builder News of the North Florida Builders Association. This is the premiere issue with the new name.

We are taking this opportunity to begin to implement some changes to the content. We are going to add to our coverage of member news by bringing state and national construction issues to your attention. Our goal is to keep you engaged in the activities of the association with an ear to the ground for news that may have future implications for us.

We are pleased, too, that additional news of interest to our industry can be found in the pages of our host publication, Realty-Builder Connection. We will make a greater effort to draw your attention to those stories.

Bailey Publications recommended some format changes that give Builder News a more modern, updated look. Some of the changes have to do with fonts and some with overall design. We liked the changes because they have yielded a little more space per page and increased readability.

We welcome your feedback about the new look and the content. Please let us know what you think. Email your comments or suggestions to [email protected].

Remember, you can read Builder News online at www.nefba.com and inside Realty-Builder Connection at realty-builder.com.
