LandSouth Construction began work in February on The Loree Apartments, a $28 million luxury apartment community in Jacksonville.
The upscale gated garden-style apartments will be located at 8649 AC Skinner Parkway in the southwest quadrant of Butler and Southside boulevards.
LandSouth is a local general contractor specializing in multifamily and senior housing.
The Loree Apartments will offer residents social-gathering areas, resort-style amenities and oversized residences.
The project is next to Lost Lake Apartments, a development with one of the highest occupancy rates in Jacksonville. LandSouth completed that development last year.
The project’s developer is AC Packer, LLC of Jacksonville Beach. Charlan Brock & Associates of Maitland is designing the community.
Completion is scheduled for summer 2016.
The Loree apartment complex will be made up of 300 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging from 813 to 1,307 square feet.
The homes will have open floor plans, private balconies, laminated plank flooring, high ceilings and large walk-in closets.
The island kitchens are being designed with modern finishes, including granite countertops, solid wood cabinetry and black steel appliances.
The bathrooms will have walk-in showers and dual-sink vanities.
The complex’s 8,191 square foot clubhouse and amenities will include a resort style swimming pool, fitness club, outdoor yoga lawn, pet care center, dog park, demonstration chef’s kitchen, residents club with fireplace and resort-style entertainment areas.
Enclosed parking spaces will also be available.
