Republican Al Ferraro has defeated Democrat Lisa King for the City Council District 2 seat.
With all but one of the 13 precincts in the district reporting, Ferraro leads 58 percent to 42 percent.
The districts encompasses parts of east Fort Caroline and across the river to the Northside.
Ferraro owns a landscaping and lawn service company he opened 30 years ago.
It is the first time he has run for elected office.
