“Discover the Building Universe” was the theme of the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show, and that’s exactly what attendees took away from the event.
Over the course of three days last month, more than 80 NEFBA members joined hundreds of thousands of industry representatives at the Las Vegas Convention Center, participating in training programs, attending networking events and discovering the latest advances in building and design.
IBS is part of Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas, which featured the co-location of IBS and the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show.
It also included the International Window Coverings Expo and the International Surface Event.
One of the highlights of the show was when the University of North Florida Construction Management Program received the National Housing Endowment’s Homebuilding Education Leadership Program grant.
The $100,000 grant will be augmented with a $40,000 grant from NEFBA to help create a residential construction track at UNF.
