The St. Johns County School District will build an elementary school adjacent to TrailMark near World Golf Village.
Construction is expected to begin this spring, with the building ready for the 2017-18 school year.
“Our residents enjoy a wonderful location with close proximity to outstanding schools,” said Chris Kuhn, vice president of land development for GreenPointe Communities.
The school, which will accommodate 800 students, will feature extended learning areas and moveable walls to allow for collaboration and team teaching.
The yet-to-be-named facility will be near the corner of Pacetti Road and TrailMark Drive.

Shearwater’s Kayak Club and Fitness Lodge are opening this summer.
Residents can take a wide range of classes, visit the coffee and snack shop, work out in the fitness center or have gatherings in the club.
The Kayak Club features a wrap-around porch, multiple televisions and ample space to make the venue an ideal place to watch a game or host a party.

Jacksonville-based LandSouth Construction is ranked 16th among the nation’s largest apartment contractors by the National Multifamily Housing Council.
Rankings are based on the number of units started in 2015.
The company was No. 25 last year.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty ranked as the No. 23 affiliate at the Rev’d Up sales convention in Dallas.

3 townhomes remain at Channelside
Realtors enjoyed a VIP sneak preview in April for Channelside’s new Hatteras model.
Guests dined on food from Safe Harbor Seafood while enjoying waterfront views from the furnished Hatteras model.

Energy Star award for Providence Homes
Providence Homes received a 2016 Energy Star Partner of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
The honor is the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s highest award for organizations that protect the environment through energy efficiency.
