Raising Cane’s is a step closer to opening in Jacksonville.

The city is reviewing civil engineering plans for Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in Oakleaf Station in Southwest Jacksonville.

The 28-year-old chain is known for a narrow menu of fried tenders, Cane’s Sauce, slaw and toast.
