The closed Arby’s fast-food restaurant in the Regency area of Arlington is permitted for conversion for Dunkin’ to bring coffee, doughnuts and more to the area.
The city issued a permit April 17 for Suncoast Industrial & Construction Services Inc. to convert the 3,510-square-foot stand-alone fast-food restaurant and drive-thru at 9361 Atlantic Blvd. at a project cost of $610,509.
Built in 1984, the building is east of Southside Boulevard/Southside Connector. It is near Aldi, Ashley Furniture and the Lotte Plaza Market under renovation.
The client/tenant is listed as Jacksonville LGS LLC of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Inspire Brands of Sandy Springs, Georgia.
It is one of several Dunkin’ remodels or new locations in Northeast Florida.
Another Arlington Dunkin’ at 3031 Monument Road in Cobblestone Plaza reopened April 18 after a $150,000 renovation.
Foley Construction was the contractor for the 2,290-square-foot Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins shop with a drive-thru, which is along Monument Road between McCormick and Fort Caroline roads. The permit was issued Jan. 3, 2025.
The client/tenant is Monument LGS of Harrisonburg and Inspire Brands.
The Dunkin’ at 10379 Atlantic Blvd. at northwest Atlantic Boulevard and Interstate 295 in Arlington also was remodeled. Foley Construction was the contractor for the $170,000 project to renovate the 2,033-square-foot building, which has a drive-thru. That permit was issued Nov. 11, 2024.
The client/tenant is Jacksonville LGS and Inspire Brands.
Dunkin’, founded in 1950, says it is the largest coffee and doughnuts brand in the United States, with more than 13,700 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.
There are more than 900 in Florida with about 45 in Northeast Florida.
