Pecan Craft Kitchen, a “farm-to-fire” restaurant concept, plans to open Dec. 20 in Julington Creek.
The fast-casual restaurant is at 138 Florida 13 in St. Johns County. It is south of the Julington Creek Bridge about 0.3 miles north of Race Track Road.
Pecan Craft Kitchen will feature menu items cooked over a pecan-fired grill, according to a news release.

The menu includes grilled tamarind flatbread, cornbread with hot honey, pecan-fired salmon and banana pudding.
The restaurant seats 120 customers and includes a covered patio.
St. Johns County approved plans Sept. 16 for a $750,000 build-out. Site plans show 50 parking spaces.

Jacksonville-based AVA Engineers Inc. is the civil engineer and Atlantic Beach-based Kaneco Construction is the contractor.
Pecan Craft Kitchen is in the former Broudy’s Liquors location. The liquor store relocated to a larger space at 25 Village Oaks Drive in August 2023.
Planned restaurant hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Monday.

Darryl Nagao and Brad Chasteen are developing Pecan Craft Kitchen through their company, Welcome to Moe’s Inc. The duo operates more than 50 Moe’s Southwest Grill locations in Florida, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
