Gilbane Building announced Dec. 18 the promotion of Ryan Sitnik to senior director of business development in the Southeast.
The construction company said he will lead efforts to strengthen client relationships and business development strategy in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Richmond, Virginia.
“Ryan’s career progression is a testament to his dedication, adaptability, and vision,” Paul Sullivan, senior vice president at Gilbane Building, said in a news release. “He is a true partner and advocate for our clients, and we look forward to his continued impact leading our Southeast business development strategy and advancing our customer-focused approach.”
Ryan’s 16-year career with Gilbane began as an intern. He then moved up through the ranks as quality manager before transitioning to the business development department.
Most recently, he was the director of business development for Florida.
Ryan received a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island and is LEED AP certified in building design and construction.
He is a member of the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Development Council, vice chairman of The Players Championship, and Advisory Council member and Fundraising Co-chair for the ACE Mentor Program of Northeast Florida.
