Sports tourism in Jacksonville has a new event with Predator Pro Billiard Series entering a long-term commitment that makes Jacksonville the season finale destination for its global tour for four years, beginning in December 2025.
The site designation is a partnership between Predator Group, Visit Jacksonville and the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
Predator Group, based in Jacksonville, is a wholesale supplier of pool cues, tables, apparel and accessories.
“Bringing the Pro Billiard Series season finale to Jacksonville is more than just exciting — it’s deeply meaningful for us,” said Karim Belhaj, CEO of Predator Group, in a news release. “This is our hometown, where our journey started and where our innovations are created every day. It’s a full-circle moment. Jacksonville deserves to be on the world billiards map, and we’re proud to make that happen with an event that’s built to stay, grow, and inspire for years to come.”
The new era will launch with the 2025 Pro Billiard Series Season Finale from Dec. 16-21. The inaugural edition will feature the WPA Women’s World 9-Ball Championship, alongside a Men’s Open tournament.
In 2026, the Jacksonville season finale will expand with the launch of Pro Billiard Series All-Stars Week. The format will feature the top 12 men and top 12 women from the rankings, plus four wild cards per division, for a total of 16 competitors in each category, Predator said.
The Pro Billiard Series, presented by Predator Group and CueSports International, features events around the globe designed to elevate the sport with consistent formats, high production value and unmatched opportunities for players.
