Cantina Louie Mexican Street Food confirmed it is planning a restaurant inside Jacksonville International Airport’s Concourse B, now under construction.
“We are beyond thrilled to be one of the local restaurants selected for the Jacksonville Airport expansion, especially as it aligns with our commitment to showcasing the vibrant flavors of our community,” a Cantina Louie spokesperson wrote in an email Feb. 22 to the Daily Record.
“Since our founding in 2014, Cantina Louie has been proud to serve up specialty tacos, authentic Mexican street food and incredible drinks at our nine locations across Jacksonville.
“This opportunity not only allows us to share our passion for Mexican cuisine with travelers but also highlights the rich culinary culture our city has to offer.”

In addition to Cantina Louie at Concourse B, the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Board of Directors unanimously approved lease agreements Nov. 19 that will bring Chick-fil-A, Panda Express and Northeast Florida-founded restaurants V Pizza and Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q to the airport’s new Oak & Ocean Food Hall.
Other local restaurants at JIA include two Southern Grounds coffee shop locations and Angie’s Subs.
Host International Inc., which operates concessions at JIA, will staff and manage Cantina Louie and the other restaurants in the concourse, according to an HMS spokesperson.

The JIA location will be Cantina Louie’s 13th overall, according to its website. The Jacksonville Beach-based restaurant chain also has locations in North Carolina.
Concourse B, estimated to cost about $344 million, will add six gates at JIA. It is scheduled to open in December 2026 along with a new 2,000-space parking garage. The gates will be operated by American Airlines.
Funding sources for Concourse B include a mix of Florida Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration grants and JAA money.
