A grand opening is scheduled April 25 for the first neighborhood in the new EverRange master-planned community.

Eight model homes by six builders will open for tours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 12174 Mariposa Ave., according to an April 6 news release from the developer.

The six builders are David Weekley Homes, Dostie Homes, ICI Homes, Providence Homes, Riverside Homes and Toll Brothers.

Mariposa includes 175 single-family home sites.

“This grand opening is the first opportunity for people to walk the homes, get to know the builders and get a true feel for what living in EverRange will look like,” said Chris Pilinko, president of EverRange developer The PARC Group, in the release.

The 1,000-acre EverRange is along Philips Highway at the southern tip of Duval County, where the highway connects with Nocatee Parkway.

The Daily Record first reported plans for the EverRange development in 2024. When the project was announced in September of that year, The PARC Group said EverRange initially would comprise six communities: Mariposa, The Ridge, Regency, Sagebrush, Monterra and Saddletree.

EverRange is expected to include about 1,500 homes when completed, according to The PARC Group.

Activities and shopping will be at The Station and The Grove.

The Station town center will offer retail shops and services within walking or biking distance from each neighborhood. Electric vehicle-friendly paths will connect the neighborhoods.

The Grove amenity center will feature an outdoor gathering space, pickleball courts, a resort-style pool, splash pad, playground, fishing pond, dog park, food truck area and welcome center.

About half of EverRange’s 1,000 acres will remain a wooded preserve, The PARC Group has said.

The grand opening is expected to include live music, food trucks, children’s activities, games and a prize giveaway.
