Chase Bank is planning a branch in the master-planned SilverLeaf community in St. Johns County that would bring its St. Johns County count to 12.
A preliminary plan for the project, proposed at 50 Silver Forest Drive off St. Johns Parkway, shows it as a 3,432-square-foot branch with one drive-up ATM. Site improvements include lighting, landscaping, utilities and parking facilities.
A pre-application in St. Johns County preliminary meeting and submission process that allows developers to present project concepts to county staff before formal submission, at no cost.
Dynamic Engineering Consultants PC of Delray Beach is the civil engineer.
The St. Johns County Development Review Committee is scheduled to review the project March 11.
Elsewhere in St. Johns County, a Chase branch is planned at a developing Walmart Supercenter off International Golf Parkway south of Tocoi Creek High School.
A Beachwalk site is under construction at 604 County Road 210, just south of BJ’s Wholesale Club and about a mile east of the Crystal Lagoon at Beachwalk.
A Palencia branch off U.S. 1 is expected to open later this month.
Other branches are in Fruit Cove, Ponte Vedra Beach, Saint Johns and St. Augustine.
Chase said Feb. 11 it has 30 branches open in Northeast Florida and plans to open four more.
In July 2025, a Chase release said it covers 68% of the U.S. population within an accessible drive time to one of its branches. It says the bank is on track to meet its goal of 500 new branches by early 2027.
