These three pirates were roaming the streets Downtown Wednesday morning. It wasn’t a throwback to the days when sailing ships docked at wharves along the Northbank. It was a way to promote Downtown Vision Inc.’s annual “Great Pirate Party.” It’s Friday at seven clubs in “The Core.” Drink specials, themed events and costume contests with prizes are on the menu beginning at 9 p.m. For details, visit www.downtownjacksonville.org.
