• Jacksonville Community Council Inc. will undertake an “Early Childhood Study,” dubbed the “1-2-3” study, based on the age group to be researched. It’s the result of a $40,500 grant from The Chartrand Foundation. Research starts next month and the study kicks off in the fall for a May 2012 completion. JCCI Executive Director Skip Cramer said it will be the 9th education study and the 72nd study overall. He invites those interested to visit www.jcci.org.
