The Patricia Austin Memorial Statue was unveiled Friday afternoon on the Northbank Riverwalk behind the T-U Center in a brief ceremony honoring Patricia Austin, former Jacksonville Mayor Ed Austin’s late wife. City Council member Jim Overton and Amy Slater, Austin’s daughter, participated in the ceremony.
