Farah & Farah attorney Mark Hall presented Mykal Bolden, a senior at Jean Ribault High School, the law firm’s Empowering Greatness Scholarship.

Mykal Bolden, a senior at Jean Ribault High School, received the scholarship for maintaining a 4.1 GPA. He is a member of organizations including Young Decision Makers, 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project and the TRIO Program, and for his advocacy to end gun violence.

His scholarship application included an essay detailing how he witnessed a triple shooting at a Raines vs. Lee football game in 2018.

The scholarship is a dollar-for-dollar match with the Florida Prepaid College Foundation to cover tuition, registration and local fees for two years at any of Florida’s public colleges or universities.
