The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp announced April 12 that Fidelity National Information Services Inc. will be the team’s presenting sponsor through the 2025 season.

Jacksonville-based FIS is the official technology provider to Minor League Baseball and processes all retail and food payments at 121 Financial Ballpark.

As part of the deal, the Jumbo Shrimp will each year donate a penny from every transaction up to $10,000 to a local charity or organization.

“The Jumbo Shrimp and FIS share a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to guests and fans and the promise to make a positive impact in the Northeast Florida community,” Jumbo Shrimp owner and CEO Ken Babby said in a news release.

“We look forward to growing what was already a positive partnership and the opportunity to better our local community on the First Coast.”

“FIS is proud to call Jacksonville home, and not only support the Jumbo Shrimp, but greatly value the role we play in creating an exceptional experience for all Jumbo Shrimp fans,” FIS President Bruce Lowthers said in the release.

Opening day for the Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A club of the Miami Marlins, is May 4.

The team also announced:

• Cox Media Group station ESPN 690-AM will broadcast all 120 games. Games also will be streamed at espn690.com and on the MiLB First Pitch app. Scott Kornberg and Matt Present will provide the play-by-play.

• The team will offer a Jumbo Shrimp specialty Florida license plate. Proceeds from the $36.75 tag will be directed to the St. Johns Riverkeeper. For production of the plate to begin, 3,000 customers must commit to purchasing it. The plate will be offered at Duval County Tax Collector offices and duvaltaxcollect.net. It’s the first license plate for a minor league baseball team in Florida.

• The team plans 19 fireworks dates that include each Friday home game. It also will have 11 giveaway promotions, including the Hands of Stone (Garrett) Bobblehead on May 8 and the Shrimp Tail Blanket on Sept. 11.
