This morning's winning bid of $165,100 for the Bostwick Building was made by Leslie Dean, an attorney with GrayRobinson, on behalf of Foodonics Equities LLC.

According to the state records, the limited liability corporation lists Jacques Klempf, owner of Dixie Egg Co., as a managing member. The addressed listed is that of Dixie Egg.

Klempf and his partners with the Ovinte wine bar and restaurant had a contract with the Bostwick family much of last year for $325,000 for the land and building, but that deal fell through after an unresolved lawsuit with the building’s neighbor over water intrusion.

The group's plan was to open a restaurant at the building, located at Bay and Ocean streets.

The building was foreclosed on by the city in November after the Bostwick family failed to pay about $71,000 in fines. The starting auction price of $78,774 included legal fees.

Klempf and Dean were not immediately available for comment after the auction
